Nintendo just announced that a newer version of the Switch console will be coming this October. The Nintendo Switch OLED will have a larger 7 inch with a 720p OLED display; 1080p resolution display on TV.
However, we also understand that it’s not what most fans have been expecting.

The announcement introduced an adjustable stand that’s the same length of the console and dock with a wired Ethernet port.
Additionally, the new model will include bigger storage space than the regular model, and can also be expanded with a memory card. This new console will also come with better speakers and an estimated 4.5 to 9 hours of battery life, depending on its usage.
Moreover, you can still play existing Nintendo Switch games on the new OLED model.
Other than that, the new system will include two new color variations. One with a matching white Joy-Cons and dock, another will be a red and blue Joy-Cons with a black dock.
The Nintendo Switch (OLED) model will feature a slimmer bezel around a larger screen with slightly larger overall dimensions.
