Tower of Fantasy 2.1 Update – New simulacrum Lin, environment, Bosses, & Power

November 17, 2022 – Today, publisher Level Infinite and developer Hotta Studio provided some of the first details on major updates and exciting new content coming to the 2.1 update Confounding Labyrinth of Tower of Fantasy, the hit free-to-play, open-world MMORPG. In other news, Tower of Fantasy also has been nominated for Best Mobile Game at The Game Awards and the Google Play User’s Choice Game. Players can play the game for free at the official site and on the App Store, Google Play, and Steam.

The 2.1 update Confounding Labyrinth, arriving on November 22, will introduce a brand-new map Confounding Abyss filled with menacing bosses, exciting challenges, and the new simulacrum, the powerful Lin. As players enter the Confounding Abyss located just beneath Mirroria, they will explore the ruins of the Third City, filled with diverse terrain and endless obstacles. As players venture more profound, they will encounter dangerous lifeforms lurking within the area. These new and powerful enemies have mutated under the effects of the Confounding Abyss and will pose entirely new challenges. As always in Tower of Fantasy, exclusive exploration rewards await if players survive.

Also included in the update is the newest simulacrum character, Lin. She is the only daughter of the founder of Mirroria and was raised to be his successor. The people of Mirroria have already accepted Lin as a leader, even though she has not been officially appointed. As a result of vigorous combat training from a very young age, Lin displays an aura of strength and prefers fighting on the front with spectacular results. The key element that makes Lin so powerful is her alteration ability. In Tower of Fantasy, each simulacrum is equipped with one element: Ruby as flame and Saki Fuwa as frost. The division of these elements determines the player’s strategy. Lin’s unique alteration ability breaks this limitation, which allows her to utilize all elements and can be used by players as a construction weapon for any element genre.

The recently released trailer for Confounding Labyrinth gave a quick glimpse of the underground world of Confounding Abyss. More details of various terrain types and magnificent scenery are revealed, including ruins from an unknown civilization. The update will also introduce new bosses, thrilling challenges, and a 48-player battle royale mode, Break From Destiny. All will be revealed in a new trailer set to release on November 22.

Some of the unique terrain features and new areas that players will encounter as they journey through the Confounding Labyrinth include:

Prism Pillar: Ruins left within the Abyss by an unknown civilization are riddled with dangerous obstacles hiding behind its endless passageways. Only the flickering light can faintly reveal the traces of the past and the mysteries that lie within.

Deepsoul Industrial Zone: This Industrial Area around the Scientific Research Center is covered in karst caves, and its humid and warm environment is a paradise for the growth of strange fungi.

These powerful enemies will pose new challenges as some creatures have mutated under the effects of the Confounding Abyss. God of War Ragnarök – Father And Boy On A Mission To End Asgard | An Honest SEAGM Review

“BOY! It’s time. Time to bring down ASGARD!”… is what Kratos would likely say if he was younger and in Greece.

As we saw in the first God of War, Kratos has since toned down from being a hot-headed Spartan and the God of War, on a quest to destroy the Greek Pantheon. Even though he’s mellowed down, Kratos is still as dangerous as ever, his character and manner in each situation are based on calculated risks. But, the main challenge is, can Santa Monica Studios outdo themselves? God of War Ragnarök is the ninth chronological title and the sequel to 2018’s God of War.

First Impressions

As a fan of the God of War series, my hopes and dreams for this game were off the charts, so it’s safe to say that it needed to be great or not good at all.

[Spoiler Alert] The opening scene sees Kratos and a teenage Atreus fighting Freya and it was LIT!!!!!!!!!!! Talk about action pack.

The intensity was suspenseful with Freya’s expression of guilt, anguish and dread as she clashed with Kratos. In a way, Danielle Nicole Bisutti played her role really well and you can see how badly the death of Baldur has affected her over the years. One part of her doesn’t want to kill Kratos and Atreus, but the other feels the need to do so to avenge her son, or at least to gain some form of retribution.

It was definitely one of, if not the best video game introductions I have seen and I wish I can turn back time to relive the moment when I reacted to the scene for the very first time. It was like how many would react to the Avengers Endgame Portal scene or when Darth Vader revealed to Luke Skywalker that he was his father in Star Wars V: The Empire Strikes Back.

Story

As the name suggests, Ragnarok is upon us and the Asgardians are concerned… Well, mainly Odin is afraid and wants to do everything he can to prevent the end of the nine realms.

God of War Ragnarok picks up 3 years after the events of the 2018 God of War. In the previous game, we saw Kratos and Atreus travelling to Jotunheim and spreading his wife/ mother, Laufey’s ashes on the highest peak of the tallest mountain. While on their journey, Kratos and Atreus found themselves clashing against Thor’s sons, Modi and Magni as well as Freya’s beloved and estranged son, Baldur.

Baldur’s death leads the world to Fimbulwinter, which is one step closer to Ragnarök. But, the premise of the story was Atreus trying to find himself and who he is, who Loki is.

God of War Ragnarok Review

Gameplay Mechanics

In God of War (2018) the shield was used for blocking and some minor parry attacks, but this time the shields are more versatile. The smaller shields like the Dauntless, are more for parrying, while larger ones like the Stonewall Shield are more defensive. The Stonewall Shield raises its kinetic energy and it allows the player to slam the shield into the ground, emitting a large wave of energy that knocks back enemies.

Apart from the shields, there’s also an update to Kratos’ Spartan Rage ability. Instead of one, there are three variants: Fury, Valor, and Wrath.

Fury is the standard Spartan Rage that we know and love. Bare-handed attacks that deal great damage to enemies.

Valor consumes rage energy to restore health and can also be used as a parry if activated at the right time.

Wrath unleashes a powerful weapon attack depending on what weapon is equipped.

Like the previous game, while the player plays as Kratos, his son Atreus provides assistance, helping in combat, traversal exploration, and puzzle-solving.

God of War Ragnarök has over 70 accessibility options. The game’s user interface (UI) system also had some redesigns to allow players to have more flexibility and readability. Apart from that, new customization options for combat and interaction systems were also added.

In Ragnarok, we meet all the big players in Norse mythology. From Heimdall to Thor to the All-Father, Odin. In a way, it kinda makes you think if the Greek Pantheon were to fight with the Aesirs of Asgard, who would win?

Overall, like many other gamers, I think God of War Ragnarök is a masterpiece. If it was a painting, it’d be Van Gogh’s Starry Night. It is definitely a game that’s a worthy successor to the 2018 God of War and one that has high replayability.

God of War Ragnarök is a game that takes you on a journey, making you feel that you’re part of the game.

The announcement marks the next major step in supporting the development of virtual sports within the Olympic Movement and engaging further with competitive gamers.

In partnership with the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, Sport Singapore, and the Singapore National Olympic Commit tee (S NOC), the Olympic Esports Week will showcase the best of virtual sports – hybrid physical and simulated sports – with the four-day festival, including exhibiting the latest technologies, panel discussions, education sessions, and show matches.

The week’s highlight will be the first in-person live finals of the Olympic Esports Series, a global virtual and simulated sports competition created in collaboration with the International Federations (IFs), which builds on the successes of last year’s Olympic Games Virtual Series. The 2021 series attracted over 250,000 participants from across 100 countries to participate in virtual and simulated sports competitions, including baseball, motorsport, cycling, rowing, and sailing.

The drug we thought was gone for good came back and painted the whole world.

SEED hunting organization that Ganpo is leading to distribute SEED all over the world. “El-Alcangel” is trying to eradicate SEED completely.

Beyond-the-Grave is always next to Mika.

Another SEED hunter Quartz, who they got to know in Mexico, realized that Raven Clan’s base is located in Scumland, and the story begins as Mika and Grave land in Scumland.

Grave lands on Scumland to stop the war that started from someone’s wrong desire, and Raven Clan, who is trying to stop Grave and the crew. Their battle has just begun.

Beyond the GRAVE – Characters

BRANDON HEAT
The main character of the game Gungrave G.O.R.E. is none other than Brandon Heat. He was the sweeper of Millenion, Mafia. He was murdered by his friend, Harry McDowell, an executive of Millenion. Dr.T revived him by necrolization, and that’s how he became superhuman and invincible. After defeating Milenion, which was run by Harry, Grave started working as a SEED Hunter alongside Mika. They ran around and destroyed every organization connected to SEED and all SEED factories.

As a result, they became legendary figures in the dark world. 2 pistols are called Cerberus’ right head and left head, and a coffin with a power gimmick called Death Coffin. Those are the weapons he controls with unbeatable power, and he was working as the sweeper of Millenion. People called him a reaper, and he was the most feared figure among humans.

His ego is gone due to the early necrolization, but he has a strong will to protect Mika.

ASAGI MIKA
The leader of “El-Alcangel”. “El-Alcangel” was formed to eradicate SEED.

Asagi Mikla is the daughter who was born between Big Daddy and his paramour Maria. Big Daddy is the original boss of Millenion. Her mother was murdered by ex-Millenion’s boss Harry McDowell, and Mika was almost murdered by the assassin that Harry sent, but in the end, she was revenged with Grave by her side.

She became a hunter and the icon of the SEED eradicating organization “El-Alcangel” to eradicate a drug called SEED that was formed and distributed by Millenion that her dad created is spread worldwide.

CHENI ANGEL (QUARTZ)
Crystal (Quartz) is this girl’s name, and she is the partner of Grave. Her skin is so white that it is almost transparent, has long blonde hair and gold and silver odd eyes.

She was working as a SEED hunter alongside Mika and Grave. When they met in Mexico, they decided to create “El-Alcangel”.

She may look like an ordinary girl but is somewhat “orgmanized.” Some parts of her body are crystalized & transparent due to them being orgmanized. She covered her left arm with leather to hide her crystalized arms. There is a small wing on her left shoulder since that is how you can define an orgman.

KUGASHIRA BUNJI
Sworn brother of Grave, who used to fight together in Millenion days.

Bunji, who always respected Grave, is filled with hate towards Grave and wants to kill him because Bunji believes that Grave betrayed Bunji and his organization (Group with Millenion that was formed around Harry). He feels love and hatred toward Grave.

DR.ASO
A doctor specialized in SEED & Necrolization. He always carries a hip flask and doesn’t function without alcohol in his system. he starts to work when he drinks, but the duration is very short, so he keeps pouring until he gets drunk.

Dr. Aso is the one who revived Grave from the dead. He is a rival of Dr. Tikoka, who made Grave, and they used to research together.

He is also the creator of Necro DNA out of Necrolization.

ZELL Cordonbrave
An experienced leader of Brave Mercenary. He carries a huge sniper rifle and aims at the heart of enemies.

he fought against Grave once in the past. He protects the SEED Production Factory as he was hired by Raven Clan, the SEED distributing organization.

YENSEN The Boostmaster
The leader of Raven Clan Hong Kong. He trained in swordsmanship for a long time. He is a killer who enjoys slaughtering. He is an orgman who injected SEEDcore into himself and became superior to be stronger.

BIGWUSHEN
She is a showgirl at the nightclub that Raven Clan runs, and she is the leader of Raven Clan Malaysia.

She attracts people with her voice and kills them violently. She plans to reach her ambitious goal.

TURONTY
The leader of Raven Clan Singapore. He carries a chain, is an old man bent with age, and is skinny and tall. He may seem like a weak old man, but he is wicked and evil-minded.

He is an orgman who injected SEEDcore into himself and became superior to be stronger.

GANPO ESSEX

Gungrave G.O.R.E – Ganpo Essex

The man who leads Raven Clan. He sells SEED to the whole world. He is an orgman who became superior by injecting SEEDcore into his body.

He wants to make himself look like a businessman, so he acts intelligent, but he is a cruel person. He was one of the executives of ADU, an organization run by Richard Wong, but he used SEED which was prohibited in his previous organization, so he got kicked out. He started Raven Clan after that to sell SEED all over the world and lives as the leader of the darkest and strongest organization in the world.

WHO KNOWS WHO

Gungrave G.O.R.E – Who-Knows-Who

He is mysterious. No one knows his face, and people have distorted memories of him. He stays in the deepest part of the Scumland Center facility and never shows himself out.

The goal of Who-Knows-Who is to unify humankind’s mind. He is trying to spread SEE even more all over the world.

That, however, doesn’t subtract from the fact that it will be the first mainline Sonic title to feature “open zone” gameplay, setting high expectations for both fans of the franchise and hardcore gamers. With each trailer revealing more and more high-octane gameplay, I personally cannot wait to get my hands on it this November 8.

If you think it sounds a bit like the aforementioned Evil West, you’re not wrong, but let’s be honest, is that really a bad thing?

The trailer for 2018’s God Of War took the world by storm, and the actual game delivered winning the “Best Action/Adventure Game” of The Game Awards 2018. Early access reviewers and demo testers have expressed their fancy for Ragnarök, claiming that “it makes the original (2018) feel like a demo.” With planned midnight launches across the world, God Of War Ragnarök is certainly up there as one the most anticipated games of November, if not 2022, if not the decade.

Torchlight: Infinite has been on the hype as the newest dungeon crawler isometric ARPG by XD Inc. With its competitors on the line, Path of Exile and Diablo Immortal, where does Torchlight: Infinite stand between the 2 tyrants of the genre?

Beginner Friendly

For one, the mechanics in Torchlight: Infinite are streamlined for convenience, not only does this invite new players into the genre, but it is also a big deal for veterans in the field.

Take their trade house, for example, unlocked once you have completed the main campaign. You are able to purchase gear from the trade house using the game’s currency which can be farmed and dropped from loot. The convenience here is that you can thoroughly search for your desired piece and be greeted with options within your preference.

There’s no need for endless grinding for that super rare gear drop from loot and without the need to access third-party websites to access the marketplace. Torchlight: Infinite makes gearing ever so convenient so that you can focus on your gameplay.

How does the end game look like?

Speaking of gameplay, if you played Path Of Exile in the past, you will be familiar with the end game here. Once you’ve completed the main campaign of Torchlight: Infinite, the isn’t over yet, not even halfway there.

That is when you’ll be introduced to the mapping system, which you will spend the majority of your time there, if not the trade house or crafting your gear.

It is basically traveling to an area, killing mobs on your way, and finally eliminating the respective boss in the area. Once you’re done with that you will travel back to your main town. Sound’s simple and boring enough, but they’ve made it so seamless that the process is purely addictive.

Endless Cycle

“So the end game is you clearing a map, collecting loot, heading back, and repeat” to put it in layman’s terms yes their endgame is a true rinse and repeat for hours and hours to come. Which is where the introduction of Timemarks come in.

Take Timemarks at the world level, once you’ve completed 5 maps in a zone, you will unlock a boss fight to the plane watcher, a tougher boss unique to the zone. Defeating it will unlock a harder level of difficulty to the zone, allowing you to fight stronger foes and earn better rewards.

While you may be doing this endlessly, the goal of the end game for every player is to reach their furthest. Once and if they start feeling bored, they can always opt to build a different character.

Something for everyone

Maybe you started with the classic spin-to-win build with Whirlwind Rehan, you’ve cleared tons of maps and want something more challenging. You could care to try out a few Carino builds that focus on dealing damage from afar with low survivability but a nimble kit. Or you could try out a free trait that the game gives to you upon reaching lv 80 and clearing Timemark 6 maps with the Wilt Youga Build.

As mentioned, the possibilities are endless and they suit any kind of playstyle, which they also encourage players to try with their dynamic talent system.

Flexible Talent System

Most people would get intimidated by Path of Exile’s talent system or lack thereof from Diablo Immortal, which provides passive stats for your characters. Right off the bat, the game doesn’t allow you to determine your build just from the class you chose and from the talents you’ve picked up early on.

Before lv 80 you’re able to re-spec your character entirely for free and past that you will have to burn resources for every re-spec though it is not hard to grind those resources back up. As long you’re following a planned-out build, you wouldn’t even be resetting your talents towards the end game anyway, but its something convenient to have.

Same same but different

So how is the game loop of Torchlight: Infinite addictive? Because every run will feel different, obviously your first run to the end game will be the slowest. Once you’ve gotten used to the game, your next run will be quicker, and the same goes for the run after. You repeat the process until the new season arrives which is every 3 months, the next one being in January 2023. Where new mechanics will be introduced into the game which allow you to grind more effectively for newer and better loot.

Is Torchlight: Infinite Pay to Win?

The Short Answer to this, Not at all. Most of their microtransaction may seem trivial to you and while the pets might give you a slight edge in your end-game status, it isn’t as abysmal as Diablo Immortal’s end game turned out to be. While you can buy hero traits with real money which unlocks a new build path for them, they are relatively affordable and even if you don’t get it this season, it will be unlocked for free in the next season.

And as for expansion options that cost money, as long you have good inventory management you wouldn’t even run into such a problem. And as for the aspect of revival tokens, there is a solution, just get good.

Although there is a gacha system where players can pull for unique pets and cosmetics that do not improve character stats and that are purely for visuals, if you’re that sort of person then you will be happy to.

Verdict

Honestly, I would say that Torchlight: Infinite is something everyone should give a try. It’s an addictive ARPG the end goal of the game is to better yourself and the lack of a recharge system that offers an uncapped limit of how far you can take your character within a short amount of time. Also, the ability to sync your progress between your mobile phone and gaming PC feels seamless that gives the game a recipe for success. If you have not picked the game up yet, I suggest you, you won’t regret it.

As captain of the Mirroria Security Special Forces, Saki Fuwa is the only genuine human in the group, never having undergone any biomechanical modification. Karena jika dilihat dari skill-nya mirip dengan Lancelot dan Harith, namun untuk penampilannya lebih mirip Nana dengan kuping rubah di atas kepalanya. Everything you need to know about Vera, The Lost Region | Tower of Fantasy

While it was a long wait, Tower of Fantasy fans may now rejoice with their latest major update that in which introduces a new area of the map, Vera The Lost Region. A vast desert that many players will spend their time wandering around and eventually entering its cyberpunk capital , Mirroria.

We’ve all seen the screenshots of both Vera and Mirroria and were flabbergasted by the beautiful landscapes of the sandy dunes that transitions drastically to a futuristic and colorful city.

Greyspace Fissures, mysterious portals to seemingly related yet distinct worlds, are accessible to players above level 74 once they have explored 40% of Vera’s territory.

In addition, there are what are known as Greyspace Entities, who are strong adversaries like Abyssants.

These are the global bosses, like the metal moose-like Rudolph and Magma, who can summon lightning and is a giant, scaled killing machine with abilities in the wind and sand.

Devourer, a different boss, is a puppet singer with a classic yet cutting-edge Japanese design. This boss fights with launch dash attacks and releases wind blades.

Along with the update, three new playable characters—Ruby, Lin, and Saki Fuwa—will be added to the roster.

Ruby is a “adorable burning bunny girl” who wields flame power, and whose main objective appears to be aiding Lin. This is because Ruby is in Lin’s custody “as a result of specific arrangements.”

Spark Attack, Aerial Discharge, Lockdown Zone, Blazing Dive, and Gotcha are some of her standard attacks. She is proficient at Super Nova and Sparkling Collider. Sparky, an SSR weapon, is her go-to weapon.

A bunch of rewards await players for the 2.0 Update, both new and old, players are able to claim goodies everyday just via log in.

เราได้เห็นภาพตัวอย่างของทั้งพื้นที่ใหม่ Vera รวมถึงเมืองหลวงมิเรอร์เรีย กันไปแล้วซึ่งเป็นฉากที่มีความสวยงาม มีทิวทัศน์ของทะเลทราย ภูเขาทรายไปจนถึงภาพความงดงามและสีสันที่สวยงามของเหมือนที่ดูล้ำสมัย

สำหรับผู้เล่นที่มีเลเวล 74 ขึ้นไปสามารถเข้าถึงรอยแยกมิติสีเทาซึ่งจะนำพานักพเนจรไปสู่อีกโลกที่แตกต่าง นอกจากเลเวลต้องถึงแล้วยังต้องสำรวจพื้นที่พื้นที่ใหม่อย่าง Vera ไปถึง 40 % แล้วอีกด้วย

และที่เพิ่มเติมเข้ามาอีกคือบอสในรอยแยกมิติสีเทาที่มีความแข็งแกร่งเทียบเท่าได้กับ Abyssants เลยทีเดียว

นี่คือบอสโลก เหมือนกับกวางมูสเหล็กอย่าง Rudolph และ Magama ขนาดมหึมาซึ่งสามารถปล่อยพลังสายฟ้า มีความโหดที่มีความสามารถในลมและทราย ต้องระวังกันให้ดี

Devourer อีกตัวที่มาใหม่ในการอัพเดตครั้งนี้ เป็นตุ๊กตานักร้องที่มีการออกแบบให้ดูมีความเจแปนนีส ญี่ปุ่นมากๆ บอสตัวนี้จะมีการโจมตีโดยการพุ่งเข้าใส่และปล่อยใบมีดลมออกมาจัดการนักพเนจร

ในการอัพเดตครั้งนี้ยังมาพร้อมกับตัวละครใหม่อีก 3 ตัว คือ Ruby , Lin และ Saki Fuwa
