The Twitter Fued Between Xbox Series S Leaks and Xbox is Hilarious
Xbox hasn’t been the best at keeping secrets. They’ve mistakenly leaked the Xbox Series S console via replacement controller packaging. Additionally, ESRB ratings have been hinting that Series X won’t be the only console in the Xbox Series family.
Twitter user “WalkingCat” is the latest to bombard Xbox with more Series S leaks. This time, a 4-second tweet from what seems to be a console presentation circulated Twitter. The snippet showcased the console and compared its size to the larger Series X.
Xbox hilariously responded with-
-and soon followed up with an official tweet announcing the Xbox Series S. It is unconfirmed whether this was a staged fiasco, but considering as of this moment Xbox hasn’t updated any of their other social media platforms as of yet, or even their official website, we can assume that the PR representative somewhere is tumbling over his toes in damage control.
Leaker, WalkingCat, in full confidence, only continues to provide, leaking the entire minute-and-a-half commercial for the new console:
The commercial highlights the following:
- Almost 60% smaller than the Series X; smaller than any Xbox in history
- Custom 512 GB NVME SSD- faster load times, seamless game switching
- Up to 120 FPS gaming
- 1440p with 4K upscaling
- Variable Rate Shading and Refresh Rate
- $299.99 / £249.99
