Do you know what’s good? Tekken. Do you know what’s great? Tekken 7. Do you know what’s glorious? FREE DLC. So what’s great AND glorious? A Tekken 7 free DLC update!

Time to Break Out the Wardrobe

To celebrate the fighting game’s one year anniversary on consoles, it will be receiving heaps of free DLC this May 31. The freebies are all purely cosmetics, however, there’s loads to try on. This is welcome additional content as the customization in Tekken 7 is severely lacking in comparison to Tekken 6 and Tekken Tag 2.

Costume Sets

The show-stealer in this batch of DLC would be the costume sets. Plus, cosmetics that were purely exclusive to the arcade version will soon be available for all platforms. In addition to that, new costumes that haven’t been released in the arcade version are also coming. Examples of these are the Story Mode Costume sets. According to this tweet by series creator Harada-san himself:

  • Nina Williams
  • Jin
  • Heihachi
  • Kazuya

Aside from that, there are several more shared and exclusive costumes. Here is a list:
Character Exclusive Costumes:

  • Lars x Hiroshi Tanahashi – Lars gets a wrestling costume inspired by pro-wrestler Hiroshi Tanahashi and alternate Rage Art (Previously arcade exclusive).
  • Kuma & Panda Set – Provides alternate skins exclusive to Kuma and Panda.
  • NJPW Pro Wrestling Sets- For Heihachi Mishima (x BULLET CLUB), Bryan Fury (x Kenny Omega) and King (x Kazuchika Okada).

Shared Costume Sets:

  • Auras: Auras can be applied to each individual limb
  • Female Hairstyle Sets
  • Face Stamps
  • Metallic Item Set
  • Christmas Swimsuit Set
  • Character Panel Set
  • Player Customization Set

New screenshots are being posted by the official Tekken twitter account, so its safe to assume there will be loads more content to rest our eyes on this May 31!
