Ghost Recon Wildlands’ new update is dropping tomorrow! The update is absolutely free and will be introducing three new classes to the game. Ghost Recon Wildlands PvP update 4, this time around, has been titled “New Assignment”. In New Assignment, other than the three new classes, they are also bringing some upgrade to the existing system plus introducing new maps. As of tomorrow, March 14, the update will only be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It’ll be coming out on a later date for PC due to some last minute issues.

New Classes And Maps

First and foremost, this update is ringing in three new class and they are the Stalker, the Trapper, and the Guerrilla. Season Pass and Ghost War Pass owners will get these classes unlock immediately. As for everyone else, you’re going to have to get it with Prestige credits. These can be earned by playing the game itself. However, if you’re impatient, you can always get it from the in-game store. Here’s a quick look at all the new classes:

The Stalker

A marksman class that expertise in sharpshooting. Dispatch enemies from the shadow and provide intel plus fire support for the team.

The Trapper

This is another marksman class that focuses on disabling the enemies. Equipped with a semi-automatic sniper rifle, play from the shadow and knock-out enemies with gas traps.

The Guerrilla

A support class that specialized in distracting the enemy. Comes with a drone that can launch smoke grenades to divert enemies’ attention.
The new maps, Refinery and Cliffside, however, are exclusive to the Extraction mode. The update also brought along several updates that were implemented based on players’ feedback. You are now able to vote for which map you want for Ghost Wars. Map-voting is available for every new PvP Quickly and Ranked Match. As always, the update is completely free to all players who own the game. And as mentioned above, Season Pass and Ghost War Pass players will get the classes seven days earlier.
According to Ubisoft, they will be merging Ghost War Update 5 (Reinforcement) and Update 6 (Bravo) together. The plan is to drop them early next month in April. Check out Update 4’s trailer above!
