“Biomutant” Finally Gets a Release Date Almost 4 Years Later
The revolutionary rodent action-rpg Biomutant will come out May 25, 2021. The game was first announced in 2017 with a cute, eccentric rodent mascot stealing the spotlight. Biomutant will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Though unconfirmed, it should be backwards compatible with the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
No announcements have been made on its availability on Epic and Stadia, however the game’s Steam page is now up-to-date with its scheduled release.

A lot of trailers regarding the game have released, showcasing combat and gameplay mechanics. Unfortunately, it fell off the radar for quite a while until the recent announcement. The last blog update prior to its release announcement was from December 2018.
Biomutant features intense action gameplay with adrenaline-fueled combat, vast assortment of melee and ranged weapons and swifty movement options to kee[ the adrenaline flowing. It also features complete character customization, from selecting your rodent’s gender to structuring their body type DNA.
You will be able to customize and craft your own weapons by looting the world’s resources in Biomutant. Additionally, you can also learn new combat mechanics by acquiring new Wushu combat styles as you progress the game.
Biomutant is takes place in a vibrant open world and will have players revisiting areas with new gear they acquire through progressing the story. There is a variety of traversal options from jet-skis to air-balloons with plenty for the player to uncover.
