When you talk about PC games, 90% of the time the game’s on Steam. In fact, Steam recently revamped their Database website to showcase its games stats, showing gamers more transparency and also games that others are playing.
From DOTA 2 to Cyberpunk 2077, we’ve listed some of the Hottest Steam games that you should be playing today.
Cyberpunk 2077

Remember back in 2020 when Cyberpunk 2077 first came out? Oh boy, what a mess it was. As much of a fan I was for the lore and design of the world, the glitches and bugs were a pain in the butt. It’s like if GTA V were to come out but with bugs and glitches that were totally uncalled for. I did try my best to enjoy it as much as I could cause I bought it at Full Price, but I couldn’t. Fast forward 2 years later and we have a brand new game in our midst. The latest 1.6 update feels like a new game and I wish that CDPR would have just waited until now to release the game, it would receive so much more love compared to 2020. In fact, 2022 is a year for Cyberpunk 2077 and CD Projekt Red in my opinion.
With the release of the Cyberpunk Edgerunners anime (one of the best video game anime ever), it gives us more backstory to the lore and finally answering our age old question of what the David Martinez drink is all about. The compelling story and character development also made it more meaningful for players to jump back into Cyberpunk 2077. Not to mention hearing Rosa Walton’s I Really Want To Stay At Your House with different emotions, majority of it were emotional damage.
Also, #F*$k Adam Smasher!
While the iron is hot, it would be great if fans and players were gifted with a bunch of brand new Edgerunner content in the game. Well, we did have a bunch but we need more!
Since the anime came out, there were more than 1 million people who came back to play Cyberpunk 2077. With the upcoming DLC, Phantom Liberty coming out in 2023 and ditching the previous gen consoles, it does look like Cyberpunk 2077 will have a brighter future ahead.

Honorable Mention
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2
The sequel to the classic Call of Duty Modern Warfare reboot is coming back to Steam! Yeap, it has been several years since Call of Duty stopped coming out on Steam and was solely on Blizzard’s Battlenet. But, now, you can follow Captain Price and his team on a brand new adventure with new realistic missions that we love. We can’t wait to play it for sure. It comes out on 28 October.
