If you’re a fan of esports, you surely know what The International is. The ninth annual edition, The International 2019, will be held at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai. This is the first time ever the event has gone to China.

Known as the tournament with the biggest prize pool, this year it will retain that bragging right. With an initial prize pool of $1,600,000 USD, fans contributed an addition of $29,052,934 USD so far via Battle Pass purchases. This is a huge increase of ~1713.45 percent. Qualifying teams

There are a total of 12 teams that qualify through Dota Pro Circuit. Then there are the six teams that made it through Regional Qualifiers. This features one team each from China, Southeast Asia, North America, South America, CIS, and Europe.

The open qualifiers happened from July 3 to July 6 followed by regional qualifiers from the 7th that lasted two weeks. Here are the qualifying teams that will be competing in the group stage on August 15 to August 18, 2019.
