Its nearing the time for a new year and Steam is getting ready for its biggest sale , the Winter Sale. While it is not here just yet, we are spoiled with goodies by them for the Autumn sale. It isn’t as big as the Winter Sale, but there are some titles worth picking up during this season.
For Malaysians, the Steam Autumn sale will end on the 30th November 2022 2am
If you are thinking about putting some games onto your wishlist before the sale ends, here are our picks!
You probably saw this one coming, and there is no surprise. Deathloop is an amazing game. A modern one that actually caught my attention for long periods, the idea of time travelling and investigating that reach satisfaction once you start connecting the puzzle pieces together.
Unlike your typical rogue-like games, Deathloop makes its gameplay mechanisms into its core concept is pure genius. If you are a person that is into FPS games with a heavily invested story to keep you entertained, along with using brain power to investigate around the game’s characters then Deathloop is something you should pick up.
There is absolutely no reason why no one would consider getting Subnautica, unless you have thalassophobia which in that case it is understandable. But as for me and for some players that I talked to, if there’s one thing that we could experience once again as a fresh memory, that would be Subnautica.
Subnautica puts you into the depths of an alien underwater world filled with wonder and peril. Craft equipment, pilot submarines and out-smart wildlife to explore lush coral reefs, volcanoes, cave systems, and more – all while trying to survive.
You probably already played Hades, if you haven’t then I suggest you picked that up first before Dead Cells. While both are unrelated games. They both possess a similar trait, great rogue-like games with excellent and fluid mechanics. It is something that I’ve had on my wishlist for awhile and nothing screams out “buy now” more than a huge price cut. If you are always up for challenging action games in a beautifully crafted medieval-inspired world then Dead Cells is right up your alley.
Cult of the lamb
Cult of the Lamb is also a great pick here, what’s not to love? It is a mix between base-management and roguelike elements where you go out to recruit other fluffy members to your cult and of course gather back materials to build your base. Its a very interesting way to keep you sucked in for hours and to top it all off with the adorable art style with colorful landscapes and cute friends.
The rinse and repeat process of the game is addictive and also simple so any one can pick up and start playing.
It Takes Two
Speaking of something for everybody, some games are meant to be enjoyed with friends and It Takes Two backs up that definition really well. It is a two player co-op game meaning that every time you boot it up you will need someone to accompany you, be it a significant other, friends or even children. To cartoonish art style invites everyone to give it a try and the evolution of challenging puzzles keeps the game fresh and exciting.
