Former Marvel president Stan Lee dies at 95

The ultimate dad of cameo, the creator of legendary Marvel comic book superheroes and former president of Marvel, Stan Lee, has passed away on Monday morning.

According to TMZ, Lee passed away at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after being rushed to the hospital. Currently, there’s no definite known cause of death. However, in the last few years, his health had been declining. Reaching out to the entertainment site, Lee’s daughter was the one who confirmed her father’s passing.

Remembering Stan Lee

Besides pneumonia, the man was riddled with vision issues as well on top of several other illnesses. Though, that isn’t the way we want to remember him.

Marvel’s first inception back in 1961 with Stan Lee and Jack Kirby at the helm was what brought us the many Marvel movies we love and enjoy today. Lee, later on, created many more of his own superheroes that went on to became iconic faces of the company. If you didn’t know, he created Spider-Man, X-Men, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man. and The Avengers. The most recent of his creation was Black Panther, who took the box office by storm.

Apart from appearing as a cameo in various Marvel movies, he also appeared in the recent Spider-Man game. Meeting M.J and Peter in the diner.

With his wife of 69 years, Joan, passing in 2017, he’s survived by only, J.C., his daughter. D.C Comics also posted an official press release remembering Stan Lee that you can read here.

Despite everything, Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse comes out next month, don’t miss it since it might be the last we see of Lee’s cameo.
