Gunfire Games announces Remnant: From the Ashes

From the developers of Darksiders 3, comes a third-person co-op survival action shooter set in a post-apocalyptic future. Scheduled for a 2019 release, the game will be available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Later this year during Gamescom and Pax West, playable demos will be available.

About Remnant: From the Ashes

The world of Remnant: From the Ashes is in ruins and humanity is on the brink of extinction. This is due to the Root which are hostile beings from another dimension. Mankind has developed a technology to open portals to venture out into other worlds to scavenge resources and find ways to defeat these invaders.

Every world that is ventured will present new challenges which players will encounter numerous monsters unique to each environment. From huge behemoth like monsters to tiny hordes of creatures, players will need to fight, adapt and overcome these challenges.

Since the game is co-op, communicate with friends to improve your chances of survival. Plus, befriending and protecting skilled tradesmen by offering them the safety of your home base might prove vital to your survival. These tradesmen will offer valuable skills and resources to help players upgrade, craft and enhance weapons and gear.

Since the Root has brought mankind to near extinction, it is wise for players to band together as a team. Remnant: From the Ashes allows players to group up with three other survivors. Players may choose from a number of hero classes, each designed with their own unique skills to help the group.

The game has no official release date yet. Just that it will be heading to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in 2019. For more information can check out their official site.
