GEEK FAM Perfect Run In 2022 PMPL MY/SG/PH Country League & Country Finals

KUALA LUMPUR, 2 September – The 2022 PMPL MY/SG/PH Fall Country Finals have ended, and Geek Fam emerged victorious as the Champion with 302 points and brought back a cash prize of USD 36,700. They have conquered every week of the Country League and the Country Finals of the 2022 PMPL MY/SG/PH Fall. SEM9 was in the lead for the first two days of the Country Finals, but in the end, Geek Fam overtook SEM9 for the 1st place win. 

Moreover, the team captain of Geek Fam, DamRUDE, is awarded the Finals MVP for his fantastic performance in the Country Finals. In addition to this, he is also the MVP of the Fall season Country League.

Geek Fam, SEM9, 4Rivals, and Yoodo Alliance have qualified for the 2022 PMPL SEA Championship Fall as the Top 4 in the Country Finals. These teams will not only fight for their honour but also represent their region against other Southeast Asia (SEA) regions. Of these four teams, 4Rivals (Previously Yoodo Alliance x 4Rivals) is the only team participating in the past Spring season 2022 PMPL SEA Championship. 

Meanwhile, team Don’t Break Dream (DBD), TABAH NSEA, and Team HAQ, placed in 5th to 7th place in the Country Finals, qualify for the 2022 PMPL SEA Championship Play-in Fall for a second opportunity to make it to the 2022 SEA Championship Fall. This is the final opportunity for these three teams to make it into the SEA Championship this year. In the previous season, no Malaysian squad qualified for the SEA Championship through the SEA Play-in.

There are 20 teams competing in the 2022 PMPL SEA Championship Play-in Fall for the last 3 qualifying slots for the 2022 PMPL SEA Championship Fall.

(i) Qualified teams from 5th to 7th place in the 2022 PMPL Country Region Fall

Due to the withdrawal of 🇻🇳 OneMore (1M) from the tournament, their slot in the SEA Play-in will be replaced with 🇻🇳 The Matrix from Vietnam for placing 9th place in the 2022 PMPL Vietnam Fall Country Finals.

(ii) Qualified teams from the 2022 Asia Pacific Cup Fall

Team 🇹🇭 Vampire Esports may be the strongest team in the SEA Play-in, as they finished 2nd in last season’s SEA Finals. Team 🇹🇭 HAIL Esports will also compete in the SEA Play-in with hopes to be number one again, just like last season. Not to forget, former World Champion team 🇮🇩 Bigetron RA have returned for a second chance to enter the SEA Finals through the SEA Play-in. The 2022 PMPL SEA Championship Play-in Fall will be a 2-day competition on the 3rd and 4th of September 2022. The Top 3 teams from the SEA Play-in will be moving forward to the SEA Championship, which will take place starting the 28th of September 2022. 20 of the best PUBG Mobile teams in SEA will gather and compete to be the finest PUBG Mobile team in the region. Last season’s PMPL SEA champion, 🇻🇳 D’Xavier, will return to defend their title and bring glory to their nation.

The event will also be live streamed in multiple languages for PUBG Mobile fans worldwide to enjoy and watch all the action, starting at 4.30 p.m. (GMT+8) via Livestream on Facebook, Youtube, and Official Livestream Partner, Tiktok.
