ABOUT MPL MALAYSIA SEASON 9
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League MY Season 9 (MPL MY S9) is the pilot e-sports league for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang in Malaysia. The Qualifiers stage for MPL MY S9 will be conducted online while the Regular Season and Playoffs stages will be conducted offline or on-ground.
10 teams, including 8 invited teams along with 2 qualifying teams from the Qualifiers stage will battle in the Regular Season, where only the top 8 teams will advance to the Playoffs stage.
The courage of the teams that qualify for the Playoffs will be put to the test, where they will fight for a chance to win the grand prize pool of USD $ 100,000! The MPL MY S9 tournament will be broadcast LIVE on all official MPL MY social media sites including Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok.

MPL MY was officially founded in 2017 where IDNS SG became the first champion for the inaugural season. The 2nd season took place from August to October 2018 which saw Saiyan Reborn crowned as the first winner for Malaysia. Following that, the 3rd Season was held from January to April 2019 but this time, the MY MPL crown was snatched by Malaysian teammate, Geek Fam. In Season 4, we witnessed a very intense competition but EVOS Esports managed to clinch the title as champions in the finals. The Resurgence team was crowned champions for Season 5 after dominating the entire season. Season 6 was a perfect win for TODAK, who have not lost a single game all season. Season 7 is the rise of RSG MY, which managed to steal the MY MPL champion title from TODAK. Recently, Team SMG was crowned the MY S8 MPL Champion after an amazing performance during the Regular Season Stages and Playoffs.
