The Detective Conan crew returns to Identity V with their Case Closed Crossover Stage 2 collaboration event! Let’s go over the new skins and how to obtain them, as well as the event quests and event rewards.
Previously On Case Closed
In Case Closed Stage 1, we saw some Detective Conan characters invited to the Oletus Manor of Identity V. Specifically, they are:
- Kogoro Mori (Lawyer)
- Ran Mori (Air Force)
- Shiho Miyano / Ai Haibara (Perfumer)
- Heiji Hattori (Forward)
- Shinichi Kudo / Conan Edogawa (Detective/Orpheus)
During the Stage 2 event, the Shinichi Kudo and Conan Edogawa skins are available for purchase in the shop!
These skins are special because they are 2 out of the 3 total alternate appearances for the Detective, the character that you control in the lobby/main story. They cost 2388 Echoes each but you can buy the Detective’s Invitation bundle to get both skins for 3888 Echoes. Not only do you save 1080 Echoes, but you also get the Shinichi Kudo and Conan Edogawa Portrait pictures!
Besides the Detective skins in the shop, you can also buy the Case Closed Crossover Essences for 86 Inspiration (lightbulbs) each. There is no S-Rank skin in this essence, so you don’t get anything extra for opening 250 of them. Otherwise, you still get the guaranteed A-Rank skin for every 60 Essences opened.
This Episode on Case Closed
In Case Closed Stage 2, Kid the Phantom Thief (Seer), Toru Amuro (Embalmer), Shuichi Akai (Mercenary) and Vermouth (Barmaid) are joining the roster. There are also collaboration-exclusive accessories, portraits and graffiti that you can get. Just like the Stage 1 rewards, you can get these exclusive cosmetics from the Case Closed Crossover Essences 2.
As you can see, Kid the Phantom Thief is an S-Rank skin, while the other skins are all A-Rank. Other than that, there are 8 B-Rank items (3 Emotes, 4 Accessories and 1 Furniture) and 14 C-Rank items (1 Emote, 9 Graffiti and 4 Portraits).
You can buy the Case Closed Crossover Essences 2 for 96 Inspiration each. There are also a few free sources of getting them during the event. Firstly, you get one free Essence each day during the event so make sure to log in every day! You can also earn up to 5 extra free Essences just from playing games. Take note that you do need to earn a minimum of 2000 points during the game, so you can’t just AFK. Once you’ve done this 20 times, you’ll have gotten all the free Essences from this part of the event. Therefore, the total amount of free Essences that you can get should be 14+5=19.
Make sure to get all the free Detective Conan collaboration Essences, who knows when we’ll ever see them again in Identity V! Good luck opening your Essences and keep up-to-date with Identity V news here!
