A month ago, fans of Genshin Impact were treated with a brand new Inazuma region with the chance to pull brand new characters. (We got Sayu from our roll)
Now, in just over a week, we’ll be getting a brand new and exciting content!
The Genshin Impact 2.1 update will be the Floating World Under the Moonlight.
In the special live stream presentation, we saw the return of Scaramouche, known by his alias as “Balladeer”. He’s a fan favourite character that was originally pulled from the 1.1 update.
In case you missed it, Scaramouche was the main antagonist of the Unreconciled Stars event.
The Inazuma Archon quest will continue in this new update with “Omnipresence Over Mortals”. Players will get to explore the country’s history as well as battling the Sangonomiya resistance and Shogunate.
Some of the appearances we’ll get to see in this quest are the Fatui, the Inazuma Harbinger, Scaramouche and Signora.
The Genshin Impact 2.1 update will also include new islands in Inazuma, Watatsumi and Seirai.
Watasumi is a dense yet colourful forest. It’s the home to the Sangonomiya resistance as well as the upcoming hero, Kokomi.

The Seirai Island is the complete opposite island to Watasumi.
It fell victim to a strange disaster and is now consumed by a powerful thunderstorm. On the island, there’s a shrine and the priestess is a talking black cat who seems to be around whenever there’s a fight with the Electro Oceanid boss.

Characters
Baal, the Raiden Shogun, will also be joining the crew as a five-star Electro polearm user who can deal massive damage and provide helpful buffs to the team.
Other than that, miHoYo also introduced Kujou Sara and Kokomi to their roster.
Kujou Sara is a four-star Electro archer and the general of the Tenryou Commission. She has appeared in the Inazuma Archon quest, including the battle between the resistance and Shogunate. For now, we know that she is loyal to Baal and a descendant of the Tengu tribe.

Sangonomiya Kokomi is the Divine Priestess of Watatsumi Island. She’s also a 5-star Hydro catalyst user. However, she’s more of a healer role than a fighter. She’s smart and has the qualities of being a leader.

Moreover, the Nora Huntress will be a 5-star “Savior From Another World” crossover character and will come with a 4-star Predator bow.
“When Aloy travelled to Teyvat, she acquired a Cryo Vision and became able to use her new powers to enhance her masterful bow and arrow attacks. Her Elemental Burst “Prophecies of Dawn” sees her throw a Power Cell filled with Cryo in the targeted direction, which she then detonates with an arrow, dealing AoE Cryo damage. Not only does her Elemental Skill “Frozen Wilds” and Talents buff herself and her teammates, but they also debuff her opponents while dealing Cryo damage.” miHoYo said in their statement.
