EA Dice will be doing a giveaway for existing Battlefield 1 players prior to the launch of the next Battlefield game. Collect your free Battlefield 1 premium pass if you happen to own a copy of the game from Origin. The offer begins on September 11 and will go on for a week, ending on September 18, 2018. As to why they’re doing this, EA states “ “(this is) our way to capstone all the giveaways and rewards from the Road to Battlefield V”.

What is this premium pass? Why does it matter?

The premium pass gives you access to all the previous DLCs and expansions of the game. That’s free access to all the maps, weapons, vehicles, classes, modes and more! Battlefield 1 has four expansions namely They Shall Not Pass, In the Name of the Tsar, Turning Tides, and Apocalypse.
Players who own Battlefield 1 can use this opportunity to get extra contents that they have previously missed. As for those who don’t own the game, all you have to do is purchase the base game to enjoy this offer. Moreover, access to all the content has no time limit once redeemed. Just make sure you do it within the dates mentioned above.

Battlefield V Open Beta is coming

EA Dice recently delayed the launch date of Battlefield V to November 20, 2018. The delay was necessary according to the company so they can use this time to “make meaningful improvements to the core gameplay experience”. Some of the changes they planned for the game will be seen in the open beta of Battlefield V.Speaking of which, the Battlefield V open beta will begin on September 6, 2018, and will end five days later on September 11, 2018. Players who have preordered the game or subscribed to Origin Access will get a head start on September 4, 2018.
Players can use this chance to play Battlefield 1 with all the contents unlocked while waiting for the game to come out. Battlefield V is scheduled for release on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
