It was an eventful week for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang fans! With Shanghai Moonton Technology hosting its first ever MLBB World Championship 2019 (M1). After several action-packed days with teams facing off against each other, we finally got our first champion!
EVOS Legends crowned first champion in M1 history
Featuring a total cash prize pool of USD 250,000 , eight teams went up against each other, vying for the champion spotlight. The grand final was an epic playoff between Rex Regum Qeon and EVOS Legends – both teams from Indonesia. With a score of 4 – 3, EVOS Legends took down RRQ and six other teams to emerge as the champion of M1. They take home with them USD 80,000 on top bragging rights.

Besides top tier esports action, gamers who attended the event also had a good time in other activities as well. YB Tuan Syed Saddi, Malaysia’s Minister of Youth and Sports was present as well during the grand finals day to show his support. On the second day, popular local Malaysian band, K-Clique gave off a stunning performance. As for the grand finals day, a cosplay competition definitely got everyone’s attention.

To top it off, there was a lucky draw giving away 18,000 items worth USD 144,000++ to lucky event attendees.
