While not officially announced, Dragon Age: Inquisition’s sequel is very likely to be on its way. During The 1099 podcast, Mike Laidlaw, the creative director of the series, said that “something is happening with Dragon Age”. This seems to be hinting towards the production for the next game in the series.

Something Is Happening With Dragon Age

Winning multiple Game of the Year awards, Inquisition sold extremely well when it was released in 2014. It’s no surprise that Inquisition’s sequel is in the works with the game being so successful. BioWare’s Dragon Age team is currently “hiring a lot of people”, confirmed by Laidlaw.
“As I’ve jokingly said, I am the creative director for the Dragon Age franchise and they haven’t fired me yet,” he explained.
Laidlaw also teased that BioWare is working on “other things” during his time on the show but he was not in a place to reveal any information. “There are other things in process but unfortunately I can’t talk about them until they are realised. I am pretty excited about a few of them. Things continue apace,” he said.

I’m definitely looking forward to playing the sequel. Heck, I need the sequel. After the cliff-hanger ending with our precious egg-head, Solas, my life has been in shambles ever since. Please complete my life again, BioWare.

Pick up Dragon Age: Inquisition if you haven’t yet because this game is a must-have if you enjoy a great story, a beautiful massive open-world, and fighting big bad dragons. Dragon Age: Inquisition is not available on Steam, sadly, but here’s 10 games that are equally amazing.
