We’re halfway through the year, and despite a global pandemic that hit the world over, the world of Esports persevered. We’ve got PUBG Mobile (PUBGM), Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Tournaments to look forward to. Even better, there are also awesome tournaments for Call of Duty Mobile (CODM), DOTA 2, CS:GO and more! We’ve compiled them all for you below. 

ONE Esports Dota 2 SEA League

The ONE Esports Dota 2 SEA League features seven invited teams, and three teams from two qualifiers, with a prize pool of USD 100,000 (approx RM 427,750). 

  • Regular Season (18th June – 12th July): Single round-robin
  • Playoffs (15th – 19th July): Double-elimination bracket

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Invitational (MPLI)

Also featuring a prize pool of USD 100,000 (approx RM 427,750), the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Invitational (MPLI) will feature the best teams from Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Myanmar

  • Qualifier Week 1 (19th – 21st June)
  • Qualifier Week 2 (28th June)
  • Playoffs (3rd – 5th July)

U Mobile Master Series (UMMS)

PUBGM will feature the most number of tournaments with a total of four so far, starting with the U Mobile Master Series (UMMS).

The U Mobile Master Series (UMMS) is a weekly Tournament that serves as a platform for local PUBG Mobile fans to play with each other and test their skills. We’re heading into week 5:

  • Open Qualifiers (20th June)
  • Grand Finals (21st June)

PUBG Mobile Malaysia National Championship (PMNC) 2020

The PUBG Mobile Malaysia National Championship (PMNC) 2020 is a championship series in Malaysia. It represents Malaysia’s highest level of championship, and is a part of the PUBG Mobile MYSG (Malaysia / Singapore) League. Successful teams in the zone finals will then enter the PMNC Playoffs.

It will feature four zones, with chosen Malaysian states participating in their respective zones:
Erangel Zone (Perlis, Penang, Perak / Sanhok Zone ( Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka) / Miramar Zone (Kelantan, Pahang, Johor) / Vikendi Zone (Terengganu, Sarawak, Sabah)

SOLO MODE Zone Finals (20th – 28th June)

  • 20th June (Erangel)
  • 21st June (Sanhok)
  • 27th june (Miramar)
  • 28th June (Vikendi)

SQUAD MODE Zone Finals (4th – 12th July)

  • 4th July (Erangel)
  • 5th July (Sanhok)
  • 11th July (Miramar)
  • 12th  July (Vikendi)

Playoffs (17th – 19th July)

PUBG Mobile (PUBGM) Mega Gathering Tournament Cup 2020

PUBG Mobile (PUBGM) Mega Gathering Tournament Cup 2020 is organized by Malaysia Esports Arena and Flash Vision as part of the LEVEL UP KL Play-One event by MDEC. Season 1 saw champions LX Esport take the crown, and Season 2 will take place from the 10th – 12th of July.

CODM The Plunge Malaysia Singapore (MYSG)

CODM The Plunge Malaysia Singapore (MYSG) is a tournament for the popular Call of Duty Mobile (CODM) mobile game, and features teams from Malaysia and SIngapore. Season 2 will take place on the following dates:

  • Open Qualifier (22nd June)
  • Grand Finals (8th July)

YOODO FV Major

In a quest to unearth Malaysia’s next great fighting game champions, the Yoodo FV (Flash Vision) Major 2020 will serve as a platform for the best Street Fighter V and Tekken 7 players to showcase their skills, for a chance to get sponsored and furthermore, head to EVO 2021.

  • Qualifier 3, 4, 5 (27th June / 25th July / 22nd August)
  • Grand Finals (19th – 20th September)

The Corporates League

Fancy more than one game in a tournament? How about Corporations like Air Asia, Shell, Astro, or even Jinnyboy TV taking part in an Esports tournament? The Corporate League features a grand total prize pool of RM 20,000, and four major titles across both PC and Mobile platforms. Games featured are DOTA 2, CS:GO, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), and PUBG Mobile (PUBGM). Look out for Season 2 which will take place on the 13th July – 24th September.

Yoodo Kejohanan E-Sukan Kampus (KEK)

Yoodo Kejohanan E-Sukan Kampus (KEK) will feature two games, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) and Call of Duty Mobile (CODM). It is the premier tournament for university students, across five regions in Malaysia. 

  • Semester 3 – Grand Finals (18th – 19th July)
