How to allow pop-ups on different browsers?

Modern browsers on PC and mobile devices block pop-ups by default. This is to protect users from bad sites from attempting malicious pop-ups. However, there are many legitimate sites such as banks still uses pop-ups. Lets learn below on how to enable pop-ups for the sites you frequently visit.

Chrome

Allow pop-ups for the sites you visit:

1. On your computer, open Chrome.
2. Go to a page where pop-ups are blocked.
3. In the address bar, click Pop-up blocked.
4. Click the link for the pop-up you want to see.
5. To always see pop-ups for the site, select Always allow pop-ups and redirects from [site]  Done.

Firefox

To access the pop-up blocker settings:

1. Click the menu button  and choose Options.
2. Select the Privacy & Security panel.
   • Under the Permissions section, uncheck the box next to Block pop-up windows to disable the pop-up blocker altogether.
   • A click on Exceptions… opens a dialog box with a list of sites that you want to allow to display pop-ups.
   • Enter https://pay.seagm.com and
     https:// http://www.maybank2u.com.my and click Allow.
   • Restart Firefox.

Safari on Mac

1. Open the Safari app if you have not done so already, then navigate to the web site you want to enable popups for
2. Pull down the “Safari” menu and choose “Preferences”
3. Select the “Websites” tab then click on “Pop-Up Windows” from the left side menu
4. Locate the website URL in the list, then click the dropdown selection menu next to that URL and choose “Allow”

Safari iOS

1. From the home screen, open Settings.
2. Scroll down the list and tap Safari.
3. In the Safari screen, locate the General section.
4. Tap the Block Pop-ups toggle switch to turn it on or off. It turns green to indicate that Safari is blocking pop-ups.

Chrome Android

Turn pop-ups on or off

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Chrome app .
2. To the right of the address bar, tap More   Settings.
3. Tap Site settings  Pop-ups and redirects.
4. Turn Pop-ups and redirects on or off.

Not all pop-ups are ads or spam. Some legitimate websites display web content in pop-up windows.

Allow pop-ups from a specific site

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Chrome app .
2. Go to a page where pop-ups are blocked.
3. At the bottom, tap Always show.
