Heads up, all SEAGM users! We have received multiple reports from potential victims flagging scammers posing as SEAGM using our logo. There imposters are hitting up individuals, expressing a keen interest in purchasing game accounts at crazy inflated prices and persuading victims to carry out transaction through platforms associated with fraudulent activities.

According to the descriptions provided by potential victims, these scammers are noted to persuasively entice their victims into establishing new accounts and initiating monetary transactions through their fraudulent platforms. The very moment a transaction is consummated, their accounts is subsequently frozen and the the platform demand a specified sum of money to be added to the account to restore access.

Based on the initial conversation screenshot, the scammer disguise as a third party, introducing the target to a potentially fraudulent website. The scammer then persuades the victim to make a deal via the said website. Having obtained the victim’s account number and password, the scammer then assumes the identity of the victim and accuses them of being the ‘scammer,’ falsely claiming difficulties in retrieving the game account and even going so far as to threaten legal action.
In the second screenshot of the conversation, the victim, wary of the unusual request to deposit a substantial sum of 10k in order to withdraw a paltry sum of 6.5k, questioned the scammer about the website’s reliability. The scammer, undeterred, continued their unscrupulous efforts by manipulating the victim with false claims, alleging that most of their friends use the website and have successfully withdrawn their funds.

Do take note that if you, or someone you know receive a suspicious message from a fake SEAGM, or similar scam messages like these, please DO NOT entertain or click on the links. If you’ve accessed the links by accident, do lodge a police report regarding the incident.
