Fnatic ONIC Emerges As M6’s Reigning Champions- Without Dropping a Single Match

The grand finale between the legendary Team Liquid from Indonesia and Fnatic Onic from the Philippines ended with Fnatic Onic emerging victorious. Claiming the championship title was no easy feat, as they needed four hard-fought victories to secure it. Team Philippines, who first claimed the championship title during M2, M3, M4, M5 and now has triumphed again at M6, cementing their legacy as esports giants. Fans from both countries experienced a rollercoaster of emotions as the matches unfolded with intense battles for victory. The Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil was a sea of yellow and blue, with waves of enthusiastic supporters cheering passionately for their favorite teams in the M6 World Championship.

Team Liquid ID’s remarkable journey at the M6 World Championship demonstrated their resilience, skill, and exceptional strategies. Reaching the Grand Final was a major achievement, and they proudly carried Indonesia’s hopes into the title match. Their outstanding performances and composure under pressure earned them a well-deserved second-place finish. As the “Young Stallions,” they made a lasting impact on the global stage, solidifying their place among the elite teams in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang history and making their nation proud. 

Fnatic Onic Philippines (FNOP) entered the M6 MLBB Championship with a relentless drive, following their MPL PH title win. Their impressive run began with three straight victories in the Swiss stage, earning them a spot in the knockout rounds. After dominating the upper bracket finals and defeating Team Liquid ID (TLID) in the semifinals, FNOP confidently entered the Grand Final. Despite TLID pulling one back in game three, FNOP secured the victory in game five, clinching the world title and solidifying their dominance with outstanding teamwork and strategy.


During the M6 MLBB World Championship, Kelra of Fnatic ONIC PH was awarded Finals MVP for his pivotal contributions to his team’s victory, while Innocent earned the Most Breakthrough Player award for his outstanding growth throughout the tournament. Innocent made history by setting a new record for the most kills in a single game with an incredible 19 kills against RRQ Hoshi, surpassing the previous record of 17 kills set by RRQ Hoshi’s Skylar in the M4 Championship. 

The M7 World Championship is set to return to Jakarta, Indonesia, in January 2026, two years after it was last held there during M4. This exciting event, announced at the M6 Summit, will showcase Indonesia’s growing esports potential. Bambang Sunarwibowo, Executive Chairman of the Indonesian Esports Federation, expressed hope that M7 would boost Indonesia’s global visibility, inspire the younger generation, and highlight the esports career opportunities. M7 will follow the 33rd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games, where MLBB will debut as the first esports medal event with both male and female divisions.
