Pada 21 September 2025, MPL Malaysia secara rasmi mengumumkan kerjasama bersama filem blockbuster sains fiksyen Hollywood, TRON: Ares, yang bakal ditayangkan di pawagam Malaysia pada 9 Oktober 2025. What entails in the new version update?

For fans of tough Metroidvanias, this sequel from Team Cherry delivers both rewards and frustration in equal measure. In this review, we’ll break down exactly what pieces shine, what parts sting, and whether Hollow Knight: Silksong is worth taking on.

What We Know & What’s New

    Silksong launched on 4 September 2025, developed and published by Team Cherry. It’s out on nearly every major platform: Windows, macOS, Linux, Nintendo Switch (including Switch 2), PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One & Series X/S.

  • Story & Protagonist
    You play as Hornet, once from Hallownest, now kidnapped and transported to a new land called Pharloom. The goal is both story-driven and survival-based: explore, unlock abilities, face enemies and bosses, and try making it out alive.

    Silksong keeps the core Metroidvania style of exploration, platforming, and boss fights from the original Hollow Knight, but adds new movement changes (Hornet’s pogo mechanics, more vertical traversal, etc.), new enemies/bosses, and a lot more agility for the player. Crafting tools, Silk Skills, Rosaries as currency. All these returns, but some with tweaked risk/reward.

Early bosses deal more damage, hazards hit harder or more often, and movement/traversal is less forgiving. People have reported that even because of slight mechanical changes like pogo jumping being diagonal rather than perfectly vertical as established muscle memory gets punished.

New Scam Tactic Alert – SEAGM Impersonation 2025

Heads up, all SEAGM users! We have received multiple reports from victims flagging scammers posing as SEAGM. There are imposters hitting up individuals, providing a cash out services by purchasing items from our platform to cash out on Shopee SPayLater.
We would like to remind all users on our platform:

According to the information from victims, scammers are creating fake accounts on platforms like rednote (小红书) as an agent of the company to promote cash out service scam, scammers are using Shopee Pay and WeChat as their platform to receive the money and block victims immediately after receiving the money.

Based on the image above, scammer has posted a cash-out service post on the rednote (小红书) app to attract victims. Once the victims has contacted the scammer the conversation led on to WhatsApp for continued discussion. The scammer has provided two QR code for 2 separate payments to the victim and was asked to find his/her other colleague for the cashed out money but to no avail. This lead to victim’s Shopee Pay account blocked, and scammer not replying and blocked the victim too.

On the other scenario, the scammer has instructed the victim to scan 2 QR code payments on Shopee Pay. Both of the transaction have went through to the scammer’s Shopee Pay, and ask the victim to wait from 2 – 3 hours instead of the initial 5 – 10 minutes. The victim has questioned the waiting time and was told that the changes in the amount from RM2800 to RM1567 has extended the waiting time. In the end, the scammer did not transfer any promised cash into victim’s account.

In Story Mode, players follow the journey of Shoyo Hinata and Tobio Kageyama as they join Karasuno High’s volleyball club, working together to overcome powerful rivals on their path to becoming volleyball champions.

Whose Eligible to Win a Switch 2?

The SEAGM Switch 2 Giveaway is open exclusively to Malaysian residents with a valid Malaysian postal address. Participants must be at least 13 years old; those under 18 are encouraged to involve a parent or legal guardian when entering.

The Grand Prize winner must respond to official communication from the SEAGM Switch 2 Giveaway organiser to claim their prize. Once the winner is announced, SEAGM will request specific details — including a Malaysian shipping address, IC number, email address, and phone number — to facilitate secure delivery.

SEAGM Switch 2 Giveaway – Terms and Condition

1. Organiser

The SEAGM x Switch 2 Giveaway (“Giveaway”) is organised by SEA Gamer Mall (“Organiser”).

2. Campaign Period

The Giveaway runs from 15 August 2025 (12:00 PM MYT) to 31 August 2025 (12:00 PM MYT). Entries submitted outside this period will not be eligible.

3. Eligibility

    • Open to Malaysian residents aged 13 years and above. Participants aged between 13 and 17 years old must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to participate in the Giveaway. By entering, it is deemed that such consent has been obtained. The Organiser reserves the right to request proof of such consent at any time.

    • Participants must have a valid Malaysian postal address for prize delivery.

    • Employees of SEAGM and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

4. How to Participate

To enter the Giveaway, participants must:

    1. Follow SEAGM’s official Instagram account (@seagm)

    1. Comment your favourite Nintendo character on the Giveaway Post and tag at least one friend in the comments section of the post

    1. Share the post to their Instagram Story (account must be set to public for Organiser to view and confirm)

Incomplete, duplicate, or ineligible entries may be disqualified at SEAGM’s discretion.

5. Prize

    • One (1) unit of Nintendo Switch 2 – Mario Kart World Bundle (Malaysia Set) will be awarded to the Grand Prize winner.

    • One (1) unit of RM200 SEAGM Store Credit will be awarded to the second place winner.

    • Five (5) units of US$20 Nintendo eShop Gift Cards (US) will be awarded to 3rd – 7th place winners.

    • All prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other item.

6. Winner Selection & Announcement

    • The winner will be selected randomly from all eligible entries.

    • The winner will be announced on SEAGM’s official Instagram within 10 working days after the Giveaway ends.

    • The winner must respond to SEAGM within 7 days of the announcement. Failure to respond will result in forfeiture, and SEAGM reserves the right to select another winner.
    • Usernames, display names, or entries containing offensive, inappropriate, or adult-related terms (including but not limited to references to alcohol, drugs, sex, or hate speech) may be disqualified at the organizer’s discretion.

7. Rights Granted to the Organiser

By participating, entrants agree to:

    • Allow SEAGM to use their name, Instagram handle, and likeness for announcement and promotional purposes without additional compensation.

    • Provide accurate personal details required for prize delivery.

8. Liability & Disclaimers

    • SEAGM is not responsible for technical issues, internet disruptions, or unauthorised entries.

    • SEAGM reserves the right to substitute the prize with an item of equal or greater value if necessary.

  • The Organiser’s decision on all matters relating to the Giveaway is final and binding.

9. Prize Delivery & Liability

SEAGM will arrange delivery of the prize to the confirmed winner via a reputable courier service, with the parcel insured for its full value. While we will take all reasonable steps to ensure the prize is packaged securely and shipped promptly, SEAGM shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or delays caused by the courier during transit. In the event of loss or damage, the winner will be entitled to claim compensation directly from the courier in accordance with the courier’s insurance and claims process.

10. Changes to the Terms

SEA Gamer Mall reserves the right to amend, change, or cancel these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
