A few weeks ago, we touched on PUBG Mobile Malaysia and Singapore Pro League MY/SG (PMPL)’s Regular Season, which saw SEAGM sponsored teams Bapak Ah Esports, and Yoodo Gank victorious in first and second place. So who won the Grand Finals that followed after?
The PUBG Mobile Malaysia and Singapore Pro League MY/SG (PMPL) Season 1 Grand Finals started with a three-week-long round-robin league, which ran from the 3rd March – 15 April 2020. It featured the best 24 professional PUBG Mobile teams that Malaysia and Singapore had to offer, and marked the first time an official PUBG MOBILE tournament for the Singaporean crowds.
As the event concluded, 3 teams were crowned as victors. Congratulations to Team Secret, who came in 1st place and secured a spot in the World League and SEA Finals. In 2nd place, SEAGM sponsored team Yoodo Gank, and Bigetron AROV who came in 3rd, with both teams also qualifying to the SEA Finals. Prize money awarded were USD 15,000 (approx: RM 65,716.50), USD 10,000 (approx: RM 43,811.00), and USD 7,500 (approx: RM 32,858.25) for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place respectively.
