SEM9‘s Wild Rift and League of Legends teams make it to 31st SEA Games in Hanoi! The 2021 Southeast Asian Games, commonly known as the SEA Games, will be the 31st edition of the season. Thus, a biennial regional multi-sport event which will be held in Hanoi, Vietnam in 2022.

A Milestone for SEAGM & SEM9

Commendably, this will be the second team by SEM9 representing Malaysia in the upcoming 31st SEA Games. SEAGM acclaims this victory with SEM9. The growing esports organization is indeed proud of this achievement.

The exciting news announcement was made after the likes of Mobile Legends and several more e-Sports games also underwent a selection session to fill the slot for the 2021 SEA Games in Hanoi, Vietnam. Most sensationally, the success of the SEM9 team topped two games. Thus, the teams are firstly, League Of Legends – Wild Rift for the “mobile” platform. Secondly, is none other than the League Of Legends for the ‘PC’ platform

SEM9 will proudly represent Malaysia

SEM9 shares its excitement to represent Malaysia at the renowned 2021 SEA Games, Hanoi, Vietnam. This victory is the result of beating Todak to 3-0 in the Wild Rift qualifying grand final match. As seen evidently in the match, SEM9 poured all their efforts and energy to show their dominance as one of the greatest Wild Rift teams in Malaysia.

A proud leader

This is an extremely proud moment for my team. Winning the qualification tournaments in League of Legends and Wild Rift and to be able to represent Malaysia in a significant sporting event such as the SEA GAMES in Hanoi this year is indeed a dream come true! In fact, the publicity extended by news media outlets such as Buletin Utama TV3 in sharing the good news is like icing on cake. I am excited as my team start their bootcamp session this March and look forward to the upcoming 31st SEA Games in Hanoi this year. Hopefully we will take home the gold medal for the League of Legends: Wild Rift (men’s) category!”
