You can now play classic Sega games on your phone. A new service called Sega Forever by Sega will let you collect rings as Sonic again. With this service, your dreams of replaying the classics are finally coming true. Sega Forever is offering a whole catalog of classic Sega games and here’s the catch – it’s for mobile devices. The classic titles included in the service includes titles from every era of Sega consoles such as Genesis, Game Gear, Sega Saturn, Master System and Dreamcast.

Sega Classics On iPhone And Android

Sega is offering this service for free with in-app ads. Similar to the Crazy Taxi, you can choose to remove the ads by paying $2 via in-purchase. Each title will have their own leaderboards, cloud saves, offline play and controller support if you’re looking to enhance that nostalgic feeling.
The classic titles will be added in batches and the first batch of Sega Forever goes live worldwide tomorrow, June 22. Sega will be updating the service with additional titles every two weeks. You can download the each of the games from Google Play and the App Store based on your devices.
These are five of the Genesis classics you can look forward to playing in batch one:

  • Altered Beast
  • Comix Zone
  • Kid Chameleon
  • Phantasy Star II
  • Sonic the Hedgehog
