Three cheers for Steam Summer Sale!

With over thousands of games that are on discount, it might be hard to decide which games are worth the buy. To most of us, money is not an infinite resource. Hopefully, these games, listed in no particular order, will help you narrow down your search for a good game to get.


Rocket League

If you have yet to get Rocket League, or were hesitant in buying the game when it first came out, this is your chance to add it to your library. At a 40% cut, overwhelmingly positive reviews all around, and Nintendo Switch soon to bring the game to their platform, now’s the time!


The Witcher III: Wild Hunt

Witcher III is back yet again at a 40% cut on Steam for you to grab if you’ve missed all previous discounts on this game. Play as a professional monster slayer for hire as you explore the fantasy-themed open world. This award winning game is a fan favourite of many and if that doesn’t convince you to get the game, I don’t know what will.


Broforce

One of the most intense co-op multiplayer games, Broforce, is on a 75% discount. If you love ye olden Metal Gear Solid-esque games then you’ll love Broforce. With cute pixel graphics and fast paced gameplay, Broforce is a definite must buy if you have yet to get it.


Final Fantasy Series

Oh Final Fantasy. If you aren’t yet aware, you’ll know that the Final Fantasy Franchise, now up to 50% off as a publisher deal on Steam, is huge, everywhere. Period. Just get the game, you won’t regret it. At least 5 million people didn’t.


Dishonored 2

The Stealth, action and supernatural game: Dishonored 2 has been declared a “masterpiece” and a “must-play” by many sites, and have also won the Game of the Year award of E3 2016. If that hasn’t convinced you, it is also on a 50% discount. There really isn’t much to say about this other than : WORTH!


Hollow Knight

If you’re more into indie games, you may like Hollow Knights. It’s an action adventure that has amazing soundtrack and breathtaking 2D graphics that will immerse you into the overgrown wilds and ruined cities. Hollow Knights is on a 34% discount all summer sale long, so if you’re interested and have yet to add it to your indie collection now is your chance!


X-COM 2

XCOM 2, the award-winning Best Strategy game of 2016 might be the game for you. At 67% for the bundle, this Alien Sci-fi Turn-based Strategy game should be an addition to your library if you have yet to get it.


Abzu

From the creators who made Journey, ABZÛ is an underwater adventure with majestic visual that evokes the dream of diving. Dive deep as you explore the heart of the ocean, swim with dolphins and avoid deep dangers. With an immersive vibrant world, it’s not a surprise that this game would make it into the list.


Slime Rancher

Collect unique slimes! Solve puzzles! Casual Farming! If that tickled your fancy then you might want to check out Slime Rancher, an Indie first-person sandbox game where you capture slimes and nurture them for money. This one is a little more laid back than the rest, but it’s a very therapeutic game. Plus it’s cute as heck!


Transistor

From the creators of Bastion comes the Sci-fi action Indie game Transistor. Wield an extraordinary weapon as you fight through stunning futuristic cities in a seamless fashion that integrates thoughtful and strategic planning. With such amazing soundtrack, overwhelmingly positive response, and a deep cut of 85% discount, it’s a must to check Transistor out. Supergiant Games are also releasing their new party based RPG, Pyre, coming July 25 2017.


A few honourable mentions before we go, Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor, Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series, and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands.
