It looks like the SEA Championships just got a lot more interesting with the Play-Ins bracket draw earlier today.

In case you missed it, the Wild Rift SEA Championship 2021 format will be split into three stages:

  • Play-ins will be from 14th to 19th September
  • Group stage will be from 23rd to 26th September
  • Playoffs will be from 30th September to 3rd October

Today, 12 teams competing in the play-ins stage at the Wild Rift SEA Championships finally found out who their first opponents are.

Here’s the match up you can look forward to at the first ever SEA Championship Play-ins

Bracket A

Divine Esports vs Boom Esports

    vs                      Boom_Esports_allmode

The first draw of the play-ins will see the Vietnamese team, Divine Esports taking on Indonesia’s Boom Esports.

Buriram United vs Berjaya Dragons

The second draw in bracket A would see Malaysia’s very own Berjaya Dragons battling against Thailand’s Buriram United. This match would be interesting to see how Berjaya Dragons bounce back after a close defeat at the hands of Geek Fam at the ESL Mobile Open 2021 Fall: Malaysia tournament last month.

Can the dragons overcome adversity and show the world why the are a force to be reckoned with, or will Buriram United bring the dragons down in the first game?

Bracket B

Fennel Adversity vs Invate Esports

FENNEL_2021    vs

Phillipine’s Fennel Adversity will be taking on Thailand’s very own Invate Esports in Bracket B.

Saigon Phantom vs Flash Wolves

Vietnam’s Saigon Phantom will be duking it out with the Flash Wolves from Taiwan, who has been doing quite well in this year’s SEA Icon Series.

Bracket C

QWQ vs Banana

        vs

Hong Kong’s QWQ will be taking on Singapore’s Banana in the first match of Bracket C.

Team Flash vs Looking For Daddy

With the final draw of the play-ins, Singapore’s Team Flash will battle against Taiwan’s Looking For Daddy, or LFD.
