Every game at some point has experience of defining Meta amongst the community. The term itself is commonly use when guiding people around improving their gameplay.
Genshin Impact is no feat when it comes to the definition of Meta. Especially in recent events with their new rotations to Spiral Abyss in order to promote the upcoming character, Kokomi.
Spiral Abyss Floor 11 Leyline Disorder
miHoYo updated one of the floors in the Spiral Abyss to have a corrosive debuff : whenever players eliminate an enemy, party members will lose HP% for every second. Meaning that players would have to bring a dedicated healer in order to keep their characters healthy.
Here are some character’s that are in the spotlight when it comes to the new Healing Meta.
Kokomi is a 5-star Hydro catalyst user that utilizes her healing abilities to keep her team alive. Very similar to Barbara but with additions to her kit such has dealing damage while healing at the same time. You can watch her character trailer here.
However a number of players were unable to obtain her but still wanted the healing capabilities that she has. While Kokomi does have very high scaling for her healing, there are a few characters that players can use as a placeholder or a replacement.
Qiqi is a 5-star Cryo sword user that is available on the standard banner and is not restricted to limited time events. She provides an adequate amount of healing with her elemental skill and talents,. While may not heal as much as Kokomi, it is enough to keep your party alive. On top of that, Qiqi’s Elemental Burst is amazing when you have a dedicated DPS as any characters that hit enemies marked by Qiqi, will be healed. All of Qiqi healing scales off her ATK
Jean like QiQi is also another sword wielder 5-Star character but instead possesses the Anemo vision. Her healing scales with ATK% and her Elemental burst is able to not only Heal your party instantly but also has a cleansing affect. Meaning any elemental debuff that your active has will be swirled and negate the affect altogether.
One of the popular 4 – Star Pyro Sword user that everyone wants in their team. Bennett’s Elemental Burst does offer sustainable healing, however it is a very situational skill. Only the active party member on field will receive healing per second, and once the said character has reached 70% of max HP, Bennett’s elemental burst will stop healing the current character. With that said, Bennett’s elemental burst is one of the most strongest abilities in the entire game because along with healing it also offers a massive damage buff to your characters for a set amount of time. This is why Bennett is always seen in every single party.
The 4-star Cryo Bartender from Cat’s Tail provides the similar effect as Bennett during her Elemental Burst but instead of boosting ATK for the party Diona increases Elemental mastery for the team. In additions of boosting team stats and provide consistent healing, Diona also provides shielding for the team as well.
The latest addition to the Anemo character roster. She provides very sustainable healing with her Elemental Burst that heals the entire team per tick. She is also able to swirl elements with her elemental skill which also provides a small fraction of heals to the party.
Noelle provides a decent amount of healing, considering if the requirements are met. That is she has a chance of healing teams under the effects of her shield and that chance becomes guaranteed when paired with her Elemental Burst. She is a viable option if you have unlocked 6th constellation for her.
Yes she may be labelled as the “4 – star Kokomi” but she really doesn’t come close in terms of the healing and support for the team. Barbara’s healing is more on the slow side and charging up for her Elemental Burst can be daunting if you don’t have much energy recharge which by then, you have better options for consistent healing.
