Apex Legends’ latest Celestial Sunrise event will cost around $160 USD to max out, and some are calling it a scam due to the final skin being a recolor of an already existing $10 skin. Get Apex Coins here: https://seagm.me/apex-coin-origin A large portion of the Apex community feel offended by this current cosmetic run that the official Twitter account’s tweet of the event has been ratio’d. For those that don’t know, “ratio” typically means that a reply tweet outperforms the original tweet by popularity.

Apex Legends Celestial Sunrise Controversy and Price Criticisms

The controversy comes from the latest exclusive skin to come to Apex Legends, the Jadeite Retribution Peacekeeper Skin. This skin is exclusive to those that unlock all 24 exclusive Celestial Sunrise items before February 7th.  The skin shares an eeringly strong resemblance to Apex Legends’ Season 3 Battlepass Peacekeeper skin, Frostbite and Blood Stone. [ad] Get Apex Coins here: https://seagm.me/apex-coin-origin As the items are newly introduced, all players will need to shell out an estimated $150 in Apex Coins or Crafting Metals to earn a gun that shares the same model of a $10 Peacekeeper. While Apex Coins are strictly paid and premium currency, Crafting Metals can be obtained from Apex Pack lootboxes for free. Apex Packs can yield anywhere from 15-600 Crafting Metals, among other rewards. That said, a ridiculous amount of Crafting Metals are required to redeem even a single skin on the list.
