Following Microsoft Xbox show is the Bethesda showcase and boy, it was a darn good show. Kicking it off with a band to rock out the crowd to Rage 2’s theme song, Pete Hines then went on to call out Walmart Canada. It was all in good nature. Here’s all the game covered in Bethesda E3 2018 showcase announcements, in order.

Rage 2

There was an extensive gameplay video that looks pretty exciting. Bethesda also announced the Collector’s Edition and it comes Ruckus the Crusher’s head. Pre-order here.

The Elder Scrolls: Legends

Introduces new modes to play and new ways to play. It’ll be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch later this year. Also, anyone can grow a beard now!

The Elder Scrolls Online

Celebrating a big milestone of over 11 million players and the winner of MMO of the Year for three years straight, ESO announces two new DLCs. Wolfhunter is a dungeon focused DLC whereas Murkmire will focus on the story. Specifically, Argonian lore. Now we’ll find out more about the maid, eh? Both planned for late 2018.

Doom Eternal

Bethesda officially announces Doom Eternal, the sequel to Doom. They didn’t share too much except that the enemies are twice as powerful and so is the slayer. More features will be debuting during QuakeCon in August 2018.

Quake Champions

If you’re a Quake fan, head on over to quake.com to register then download Quake Arena’s free trial from the Bethesda launcher. It’ll only be up for a week, starting today. But here’s the best catch if you’re a Quake fan – keep playing Quake Arena even after the trial ends if you get the game before the week is up.

Prey

There’s a new free update that goes live today. It’ll include three new modes and these are New Game +, Survival mode and Story mode. The team also announces that they are working on two new DLC named Mooncrash and Typhon Hunter. Oh and, Prey VR. Yeap. A single player experience as a spaceship employee that solve puzzles!

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus

There’s a new expansion featuring B.J. ‘s twin daughters – all grown up. Set in 1980, Paris, Wolfenstein: Youngblood will be a co-op game coming in 2019. However, you can choose to play solo if you don’t have a friend šŸ™ This game is also getting a VR treatment. Wolfenstein: Cypberpilot will let you hack nazi robots and turn them against their masters. In the words of the dev, they want us to “fuck Nazis on every platform possible.”.

Fallout 76

Here’s the big one everyone’s been waiting for! After a pretty cool intro from Hines, Todd Howard steps on stage to take over. He talked a bit about this being his 25th year at Bethesda and then went on to tell E3’s growth story before moving on to Fallout 76.
The game will be four times the size of Fallout 4, imagine that. Set in the hills of West Virginia, your vault is the first to emerge in the new wasteland. Boasting an all-new landscape tech the trailer showed off lots of foliage with better lighting and rendering. The game features six distinct regions each with their own set of risk, reward, and monsters. Howard specifically mentions that some of the new monsters are inspired by West Virginia lore itself.
As rumored, Howard confirms that Fallout 76 is an online multiplayer and calls it softcore survival. You can choose to play in a party of up to four players or just go questing on your own. There is no server restriction so play with your friend wherever and whenever – your progress follows you. Here are some of its other features:

  • Open world multiplayer with few rules.
  • Build and move your settlement wherever and whenever you want with C.A.M.P.
  • Multiple nucler sites on the map, find the code to launch.
  • Dedicated servers to support the game.
  • To gain access to the B.E.T.A, you have to pre-order the game. Either the Standard edition of the Power Armor edition.
  • It’s coming out this year, November 14, 2018 – BOOM.

Now if you’re a super fan, you don’t want to miss out on the Power Armor Edition of the game. It comes with a wearable full-scale T-51 power armor helmet! Get your pre-order here.

Howard then went on to talk about Skyrim, showing a funny trailer of Skyrim Very Special Edition. On top of that, Fallout Shelter is now available on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, for free of course. Next up is another mobile game for Elder Scrolls called Elder Scrolls: Blades. You can register here, the game is absolutely free.
Finally, to wrap up the show, they gave a short teaser of Starfield and finished it up with another equally short tease of new The Elder Scrolls VI. FINALLY. Missed the Microsoft Xbox show? Go here for a full wrap up. All the videos shown during the showcase are here in this playlist. Enjoy!
