PUBG Sanhok Map Release Date!

Recently PUBG announced the release date for their latest and third map which is Sanhok. In their tweet, the map will be launched on 22 June with the coming patch #15. While waiting for the patch, the map is available to test out in the Test Servers.

It is stated that Sanhok will be smaller compared to previous maps but that would mean more action in it. The patch has new improvements on the UI as well as game sound. There will also be a new Sanhok-exclusive weapon which is the QBZ95.

Sanhok will be a 4km x 4km map which is 1/4 the size of Erangel and Miramar. The traditional 100 player count will still remain but the fun thing about the map is that the red zone is smaller and shorter-lasting on Sanhok while the blue zone has shorter waiting times and longer travel times.

To make things more interesting, item spawn rates have been increased to help players get locked and loaded more efficiently.  Sadly though, 8x scopes and 15x scopes don’t spawn on Sanhok. Instead, players will have to rely on care packages to obtain these attachments.

There are a lot of interesting locations introduced such as the Cave, Ruins, Paradise Resort, Training Center, Quarry, Docks, and Roads.

Sanhok will feature an exclusive weapon which is the QBZ95. The QBZ95 is technically a replacement for the SCAR-L in the map. Meaning, the SCAR-L won’t be available on the map. The QBZ95 is an AR with 5.56mm bullets which holds 30 rounds per magazine that can be extended to 40 rounds.

More details regarding the patch can be seen at PUBG Steam Community.
